F.P. Journe Watches

Nothing to do with this brand is done lightly. You’ll find nothing that is mass-produced. The absolute finest in precision and finesse is what you can expect from used F.P. Journe watches. The company only crafts around 800 watches per annum. In 2018, the legendary Chanel house acquired 20% of the Journe brand.

F.P. Journe also stands proud as the only luxury Swiss watchmaker still to be based in central Geneva. The Coulouvreniere Rois neighbourhood remains the home of the brand’s headquarters, exhibition space and manufacturing facilities. To keep all the quality under one roof and in-house, the company also has its very own casemaker, Les Boîtiers de Genève, and even has its own dialmaker, Les Cadraniers de Genève. The two are housed in the same facility in Meyrin, a municipality of the Geneva region.

Famously, the brand’s motto, ‘Invenit et Fecit’ (Latin for ‘invented it and made it’), proudly proclaims that it crafts all its own watch movements.

Iconic timepieces to look out for with used F.P. Journe watches include the Chronometre Souverain. This is a beautiful piece made from 18ct rose gold and features a gorgeous gold dial with hand polished numerals. It also boasts a stunning brown alligator leather strap and a distinctive rose gold pin buckle.
